Women Leadership and Ministry

Our Purpose

  • To find strategies to implement the  Women’s Ministries in Africa;
  • To promote the establishment of Women’s Ministries within local ministries/churches balanced to win, build and equip;
  • To train, equip and resource leaders for Women’s Ministries
  • To choose and administer.

Our vision

         Our vision is that each local church would establish a women’s ministry that is committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ in a way that is relevant in its own context while being balanced in: winning women to Christ, building them in their faith and equipping them to be disciple-makers.

  Our goal:
To help restore and mobilize women around the world to promote gender reconciliation in the body of Christ as God designed, and amplify Awareness of Global Concerns from Biblical perspective to African women.

The program is dedicated to empowering women to actively participate in the Great Commission and to securing the necessary funding for their ministries. This initiative is motivated by the fact that many women in Africa have been historically denied opportunities to serve in ministry due to traditional cultural norms and the misinterpretation of certain Biblical passages attributed to Paul. These barriers have prevented women from fully embracing their God-given callings and making the impact they are capable of in the work of the Kingdom.

The Open Gate Foundation seeks to advocate for greater inclusion of women in ministry, ensuring that they are able to find their rightful place in God’s work. By doing so, we aim to help them fulfill their God-given purpose while also encouraging male church leaders to support and uplift women in ministry. This program specifically focuses on empowering women who are actively engaged in “hands-on” ministry within their respective churches and communities—those who proclaim the true gospel and affirm the fundamental tenets of orthodox Christianity.

In Africa, many women face significant challenges due to the breakdown of societal structures, the absence of comprehensive support systems, and widespread economic hardships. These obstacles particularly affect women who feel called to ministry but lack the necessary resources and support to pursue their calling.

The Foundation collaborates with Christian organizations and individuals dedicated to evangelism and mission work, particularly in unreached communities. By building a network of support and collaboration, we strive to create opportunities for women in ministry to thrive and to extend their reach to communities that have yet to hear the Gospel.

Together, we work to break down barriers, inspire leadership, and bring the message of Christ to the most vulnerable and underserved populations. This initiative not only empowers women in ministry but also strengthens the Church’s mission to reach the unreached with the love and truth of the Gospel.

Equipping, empowering and inspiring individuals, congregations and the whole church to develop women in the  communities of faith that reflect their multicultural society, build leaders of every race and gender and work for racial and gender justice it is our mission.
