Board Of Directors
Open Gate Foundation is Governed by Board of Directors. The Executive Officer only facilitates the Foundation’s management process, leading the board through participatory planning steps. The board members monitor Foundation’s implementation process as a collective undertaking where tasks are shared according to the departments.
Each board member is clear how his or her part of contribution fits into the big picture of the management. The roles and responsibilities are clearly defined to avoid conflicts. People with Disability and Women are involved in leadership roles; People living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA) are represented in the organization’s management.
Job Kimathi Gikundi
Founder & Chief Executive Director of Open Gate Foundation , he holds B.A in Christian Counseling at Vision International University, and a Diploma in Theology & Mission at All Nations For Christ Bible Institute International, Benin City Nigeria.
Ms Susan Wachira Gituma
A Member of Board of Directors and has done a course in Community Development and Project Management has worked extensively with community projects around Meru. she is also a Facilitator in a Global Fund funded project on HIV/AIDS prevention among the youth, a project implemented by Family Health Options Kenya. And Executive Director of Kiende Visioners, a Community Based Organization.
Mr Paul Njoroge
A Member of the Board of Directors at Open Gate Foundation. she holds Degree in Governance at Meru University. he has a passion for the welfare of the less fortunate in the society.
Mrs Elizabeth Mothoni Gatobu
A Member of Board of Directors, she holds B.A in Sociology , Egerton University Nairobi, Kenya.
Mrs Ann Njeri
A Member of Board of Directors, she hold B.A in sociology and Economics, Nairobi University, Kenya.
Mrs Eunice Gakii
A Member of Board of Directors, & Open Gate Foundation Board Chair she holds bachelor of Laws (LLB), Mt kenya University, kenya, and Post graduate diploma in legal Studies, Kenya school of law. She is Advocate of High Court of Kenya.
Justa Gacigi
A Member of Board of Directors, she hold Degree in Development.
Mrs Joyline kagedo
A Member of Board of Directors, she holds B.A in Commerce, Catholic University of East Africa. Nairobi, Kenya.
Everln Kathure
A Member of Board of Directors, he is pursuing a B.A in Business Administration at Kenya Methodist University, Meru, Kenya, and he holds a diploma in Business Administration.
Stephen Mugira
A Member of Board of Directors; he holds a diploma in Christian Leadership, a Resident pastor Kienderu Living waters Church.
