Creating space for voices to be heard
Voice of Freedom Council is a community-focused council within the Open Gate Foundation ecosystem. It seeks to strengthen the ability of people and communities to express their experiences, identify the issues affecting them, and participate in shaping solutions.
The Council places lived experience at the centre of community engagement. It recognizes that meaningful change is stronger when people are not simply consulted, but are given space to contribute to conversations, decisions, and actions that affect their lives.
Through dialogue, awareness, community participation, and collaboration, Voice of Freedom Council supports approaches that promote dignity, inclusion, accountability, and freedom of expression.
