A structure built to shift power.
The OGF ecosystem is a structured, programmatic model designed to deliver coordinated, survivor-led, and community-driven impact — combining Thematic Councils, Fiscally Sponsored Partners, and Directly Implemented Programs under one accountable, transparent framework.
Quality, accountability, and local capacity — together.
Open Gate Foundation serves as a women-centered anchor organization, supporting a growing network of autonomous women-led initiatives. This model ensures programmatic focus and quality while building the local capacity communities need to eventually lead themselves.
Autonomous Councils
Each council designs and implements specific programmatic activities aligned with OGF's mission, guided by OGF's policies, governance, and standards, and operates financially under OGF, which handles all accounting, legal compliance, and reporting.
One anchor. Many autonomous movements.
Governance support, fiscal hosting, and strategic coordination let women-led initiatives grow sustainably while retaining their independence.
Fiscally Sponsored Partners
Fiscal sponsorship allows grassroots or emerging initiatives to operate legally under OGF's structure while receiving support in financial management, compliance, governance, and capacity building — so they can focus fully on their mission.
