Explore the various autonomous councils that are part of the Open Gate Foundation ecosystem. Each council operates with a unique focus, contributing to our collective mission.
Survivors and Grassroots Leaders are the Architects of Change.
At Open Gate Foundation, we do not work for survivors; we work with and by them. Our Ecosystem is a dynamic network of autonomous councils and grassroots alliances that set the agenda, design the solutions, and influence national policy.
How Our Ecosystem Works
We believe that those closest to the problem are closest to the solution. Our groups operate with independent decision-making power, supported by OGF’s institutional infrastructure.
- Power Shifting: OGF provides the Fiscal Hosting , but the Councils and Alliances set the strategic goals and lead the execution.
- Collective Advocacy: By uniting diverse grassroots voices, we create a unified front to demand systemic reforms at the County and National levels.
- Safe Spaces: Every council serves as a sanctuary where leaders share expertise, heal together, and build strategic guidance for their peers.

The Pathway to Leadership
Groups grow within the Ecosystem through our structured Transition Pathway:
- Join: A grassroots group enters the Ecosystem to receive mentorship and institutional anchoring.
- Collaborate: They join a Thematic Council or Alliance to align their work with broader movements.
- Lead: They take an active role in shaping national policy and eventually mentor newer groups entering the pathway.
