Organization Profile

Meru Green Africa Villages is a grassroots, community-based organization dedicated to restoring ecological balance, protecting biodiversity, and building climate resilience across Kenya landscapes. We work at the intersection of environmental justice, inclusive development, and sustainable livelihoods—anchoring our efforts in the lived realities of rural communities, especially women, youth, and persons with disabilities.

We envision a county where every village is a hub of ecological stewardship, green innovation, and climate leadership.

Governance and Structure

Meru Green Africa Villages is structured as a community-based organization (CBO) with a participatory governance model.
